Rachel Carlton Abrams, MD, MHS

Rachel Carlton Abrams, MD, MHS, received her Medical Degree at the University of California-San Francisco and a Master’s Degree in Holistic Health and Medical Sciences from the University of California-Berkeley. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice. She is also Board Certified in Holistic Medicine and a member of the American Holistic Medical Association.

She has also published two books on Taoism, holistic health and sexuality, The Multi-Orgasmic Woman and The Multi-Orgasmic Couple  She teaches workshops regularly at the Chi Center and at Esalen Institute in Big Sur, California Esalen Workshops.  She has trained with Mantak Chia, a Taoist Master, and is a certified Healing Love instructor in the Universal Tao system.

Rie Katagiri is the creatrix of Erotic Movement Arts based in Los Angeles.  Her background in many healing modalities such as Bodywork, Qi Gong, Yoga and subtle body energy work along with instructing and performing in the erotic and pole dancing world, weaves seamlessly into the movement she has developed.  Rie has a relentless passion to guide people into their bodies so they may fully live an integrated life of embodied pleasure and awakening their erotic power.  Her Virgo nature of heeding the call to be of service along with a meticulous understanding of energy and embodiment proves to offer an accessible type of practice for all women. Aimée Gould Shunney, ND

Aimée Gould Shunney, licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND), was born and raised on the East Coast. She was graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a BA in psychology and minors in theatre and women’s studies. After completing her post-graduate pre-med course work, she attended the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon where she received her Naturopathic Medical Degree in 2001. Dr. Shunney is licensed to practice medicine by the state of California.

Before relocating to California in 2005, Dr. Shunney was in private practice in Brooklyn, NY and Greenwich, CT. In addition, she implemented and directed the Health Education and Wellness Program at Long Island College Hospital, also in Brooklyn, that served over 3000 people during her time there.

Since moving to California, Dr. Shunney has been very busy! In addition to caring for her 6-year old son, she sees patients at Santa Cruz Integrative Medicine in Santa Cruz, CA and at Healthstyle in Campbell, CA. Her patients have voted her the Best Naturopathic Doctor in the Santa Cruz Readers’ Poll since 2010!

A dynamic educator, radio personality, and writer, Dr. Shunney is on a mission to empower people to take charge of their health with integrative medicine. Debra Wickman, MD, MS, FACO

Dr. Debra Wickman is an expert in sexual health and menopause wellness for women.  She works with women of all ages and backgrounds to focus on intimate education, body image, and physiologic function.  She is proficient in the evaluation and improvement of sexual health for women to help them achieve optimal wellness and satisfaction. 

Debra Wickman, MD, MS, FACOG, is a gynecologist certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She completed medical school and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.  After several years of private practice in obstetrics and gynecology, she completed a postgraduate fellowship in Female Sexual Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.  Dr. Wickman is a NAMS-certified menopause practitioner.  She is a member of the North American Menopause Society (NAMS), the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), and the American Society of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).  She is certified through AASECT as a sexuality counselor.  She is currently the Director of Sexual Medicine in The Women’s Center, at Banner University Medical Center – Phoenix, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Phoenix, AZ.   She conducts community workshops dealing with sexual health, as well as professional trainings for the medical community.  Her work and perspective have been featured in Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health, and Everyday Health magazines, as well as websites such as and
